TODAY, I gave up my seat to this old man and there after stood in front of him while reading my Warcraft book intently. And he strike up a conversation with me. That surprised me very much. I don't think anyone on the train expect a total stranger to talk to them, plus he was speaking to me in very good English (better than me loh, I kept noticing all my grammar mistakes lol!) and I don't really expect Chinese Singaporeans above age 65 to know the language at all. So yeah, we talk, albeit awkwardly for my part and him very enthusiastically. All the while I wanted to go back to reading, but at the same time want to be polite (plus idk how to ignore someone who is talking to me). It's kinda weird, but he's an old man, I'll let it pass.

I recently finished the Millenium Trilogy, which is the one about The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo etc, and I'm into this phase which I always would get into once I am done with a very good book. It's like initially when you read the book, you just want to hurry up and know how the story ends, and when you finally get to the ending, you feel happy and you'll sort of let the book sink in and reflect what you have just read and imagine what could have happened after the book. And then you would feel kinda sad that the book has come to an end and you wish the book can continue on for a few more chapters.

That's how it was with the Harry Potter series.

And as for the Millenium Trilogy, I am still in between the "fantasizing about the book" and the "sad" phase. But it's even worse, as compared to other books, because the author has passed away and you'll never get to read whatever that he might have wrote if he was still alive. I just found out that he actually left behind about 200 pages and the outline of the plot of the 4th book :( I wish he's still alive.

I have been busy with projects! I can't even find the time for tumblr! I hate it when I know I'm so behind all the tumblr updates that I would never be able to catch up.

I am very glad that the 90 minutes presentation is over! I actually talked the longest, like around 30 minutes.I can see from my classmates' faces that they were bored to death! Haha, okay uh, some parts like more interesting and personal and I got more response from them.

Okay, I have been having break outs since the holidays. I never has such a big problem with acnes before so I was, in a way, felt very negative towards myself. I do remembered back in Year One, I had bad break outs too. And it was also mainly cause by sleeping too little.

I have been eating this Chinese Medicine thingy and using Clinique's acne gel for both times and it's working! So happy! Right now I'm having blemishes, which are going to take some time to go away. But it's okay, at least no new pimples.

1st year anniversary

I think by now, most would have more or less guessed the identity of my boyfriend. Many had approached him to ask if we are together (I don't know why, but NOBODY ever approach me to ask this question). Time flew past. We are the kind of couple who finds celebrating monthly anniversary pointless and mundane, so we don't normally keep track. There were couple of times in this few weeks whereby we were caught off guard by one another that we are approaching our first year. Fast right?

The past one year wasn't easy or difficult. We had our really good times and we had our bickerings and fights too. But we always make up and that's all that matters. Last week I was screaming vulgarities at him over the phone because I was so pissed off but the very next day we were hugging and kissing and apologising to each other. I don't always speak what's on my mind but he can read my face (and my voice) like a book. I don't always really know when something's troubling him, in other word I'm not the most sensitive, but he always speaks his mind. He loves to give while I love to receive. I tend to escape and worm my way out of a problem while he always try to make us (or rather me) face it. He's a good kisser. He gives me the sense of security. He gives me the shivers and the tingles when he touches me. He loves to pamper me. I love the way he would kiss my hand. I love how his big hands fit nicely to the small of my back. Sometimes I think we are made for each other. Sometimes I think he's too good for me. I don't see any other guys who have his maturity or would do all those things that he did for me. If it weren't for the fact that he is strong enough to withstand all the shit I do (I usually would give up our relationship on impulse when we had our fights), we wouldn't have last to even our 1st month.

Well, anywaysssss, getting on with our 1st year celebration!

Of course, my ideal celebration would be a small getaway to some relaxing place (maybe like Bintan), stay in some cozy hotel room the whole day, having steamy passionate sex, lots of cuddling and intimate conversation, with good food and a good view. I'm not gonna deny that I do have my needs and urges. He always makes me feel this way.

But we don't really have the time, nor the money and I doubt our parents would allow. Plus we have lessons until 3pm so we had a very simple and enjoyable afternoon/evening at the airport. That's our all-time favourite place to hang out. We love to sit down and talk for hours and hours and frankly not many places in Singapore can give us what the airport can provide: air conditioning, lots of seating area, and a lovely, quiet spot.

We had a heavy lunch at Swensen's! I had pesto salmon! I fucking love salmon! And he had his usual mega burger! I'm still very full to be honest! Heee! Then we spent some times at StarBucks, drinking coffee and reading magazine. He's different from other guys. He doesn't ignore me and leave me be while I read the magazine. He'll look at it with me too. I'll point to all those nice clothings, bags, shoes and jeweleries and he'll tell me if he thinks they are nice or not. It's like as if we're married and have lots of cash and I'm blatantly telling him that I want all those things and he better get my hints.

I always end off what I write very badly and I'm very very tired to continue blogging. So yeah, I know, it's very abruptly.

BUT! Heee, I love you so so so much! Happy 1st anniversary! :3

I have been having bad break outs in the month of March to April due to bad sleeping habits (I think), which inevitably led to blemishes. It's really bad that it is starting to eat on my self esteem. I used to have nice skin that I was very proud of, now it is just so shitty that I hate to look at myself in the mirror. I need to use concealer to hide those scars. I need to use it or I won't go out. Sometimes I'm very afraid that using concealer would lead to more breakouts, which would mean that I have to conceal more.

I had trouble sleeping last night; I think I didn't sleep at all. I got very frustrated because I know if I don't sleep well, I'm gonna get pimples the next day. True enough I found some new ones the next morning. I felt so grumpy and ugly and sleepy. I didn't wish to go to school. So before I head out I spam my face with a lot of concealer. By the end of the day it started to wear off (cause I don't use foundation), and when I went to the toilet and looked at my face I felt really ugly. It was so much so that I wish my boyfriend wouldn't look at me or kiss me.

I know this is just a phase (and I truly hope so). I had gone through it before in Year 1 and my blemishes disappeared over time. I really really hope it will disappear quickly :(

Well anyway, enough of that. No matter how low my self esteem gets, I won't say no to camera! But of course the photos like edited so my skin looks nicer! HAHA! 自己骗自己

Sometimes I don't what the fuck is wrong with my mother, okay maybe it's menopause, but fuck, she really has something up her ass. It's not like I'm coming home everyday at 3am or go out clubbing or out everyday. I was only yesterday and today and she has to make some fucking sarcastic comments about it. If I stay home all day, she'll want me to go out to stretch myself, but if I go out she complains. Half glass empty

My dad always see the glass as half empty. When I told him that this year budget looks not too bad, he told me that last time, in Mr Goh Chok Tong's era, he got $1200 in cash, instead of having some of the money in Medisave etc where you can hardly touch them. Well times are different,now it's more about saving money for future use. At least the stupid TV/Radio Licence (a total rip off IMO) is scrapped.
